Responsibilities:
It is the responsibility of the Revenue Accounting Office to accurately account for every dollar billed, collected and refunded within the confines of the University community. Included in this are all funds collected and deposited into Income Fund Reimbursable (IFR) accounts and all revenue billed and collected by the Student Accounts Office.

The Uniform Revenue Accounting System (URAS), established and monitored by the University Controller's Office, provides the basis for our campus financial accounting. Distribution reports and transfers of all revenue collected are prepared and transmitted to SUNY System Administration bi-weekly.

Quarterly reporting requirements to System Administration include the submission of a Trial Balance and reconciliations of revenue collections and accounts receivable for the period. Monthly reconciliation of URAS financial data is prepared to ensure accurate quarterly reporting. A reconciliation of Fredonia's state bank accounts is prepared on a monthly basis.
