Vincent Quatroche

Vincent has been a member of the faculty in the Communication Department at
The State University College at Fredonia State NY since the late 80s. From 2013-
2016 Vincent served as Visiting Assistant Professor for the Department. He was a
faculty member of Jamestown Community College for fifteen years. Mr.
Quatroche has also been an Adult GED Instructor for BOCES at the Chautauqua
County Jail in Mayville NY from 1997 to 2011. Quatroche has served as adjunct
faculty for the New York Empire College System. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in
English and Master of Science in Education from various SUNY Institutions.
Vincent Quatroche was appointed as the Coordinator for the Family Literacy Zone
for Erie 2 Chautauqua /Cattaraugus BOCES. This federally supported program was
an initiative to focus upon poverty/education/employment challenged demographic
populations in specific urban and rural designated areas throughout New York
State. Quatroche holds a permanent teaching certificate in Secondary English. He
is a published author of numerous creative projects, including books, audio
recordings and video art. His poetry has been disturbed widely throughout the
United States and abroad. A profile of his work has been featured on PBS and NPR.
Mr. Quatroche’s professional credentials and accomplishments are recognized and
included in the 25th edition of the International Biographic Center's Dictionary of
Who's Who in the Field of Education, Cambridge CB2 #QP United Kingdom,
England. In October of 2023 Quatroche was awarded the first ever Commy from
Communication Department faculty in recognition of dedication and excellence in
teaching over his thirty-year career at Fredonia State.
