This unique conference will provide a platform to bridge the gap between academic and industry expertise in business analytics through Academia-Industry Partnership. Conference sessions will combine industry practitioners and academicians in their respective areas of expertise.  We invite students (graduate and undergraduate), scholars, academicians, and industry practitioners to present and discuss their work in business analytics.

Submit Your Paper

To participate in the program, please submit one of the following:

  • An abstract describing current research or work in business analytics (between 100 and 250 words), or
  • A proposal for a special session (panel discussion, industry roundtable, current topic of interest).

Submission Guidelines:

  • Authors of accepted submissions agree to present their paper or industry-based presentation.
  • Each author is eligible to submit two abstracts, representing two distinct papers or presentations.  Authors are restricted to a maximum of two presentations.
  • The lead author or coauthors acknowledged in the submission must present each paper or presentation. Substitutes are not permitted to present papers.
  • All full-length papers presented at the IBAC may be submitted for publication in IBAC’s peer-reviewed Conference Proceedings.
  • All accepted abstracts will be included in the Conference Proceedings, unless the author(s) fail to attend/present their paper at the Conference or explicitly opt out of publication.
  • Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend and present at the conference.
  • Paid registrants who fail to attend or present their paper will be designated as no-shows. No refunds will be issued in such instances.

Presentation Guidelines:

  • Each presentation is allotted a 20-minute time slot, inclusive of time for questions and answers. Session Chairs are responsible for ensuring adherence to the schedule.
  • Conference rooms will be equipped with a laptop, projector, and screen for presenters' use.  Outside presentation equipment will not be allowed.
  • Presenters should save and bring their presentations on a flash drive for seamless use.
  • Guest access to Wi-Fi will be available during the conference.
  • While handout materials related to presentations are allowed, they are not mandatory.
