SUNY Fredonia has launched “Fredonia Live,” a new page within its Admissions website which includes a series of 90-second videos.

Each features real students discussing a variety of majors and topics, including why they chose Fredonia, and what they like most about the university. Produced by students, Fredonia’s most talented communication, music and theatre majors contributed to the site.

The initial launch featured students majoring in Music Business, Radio Production, Public Relations, Acting, Biology, Dance, Education and Music Performance.

Other topics discussed include multicultural affairs, studying abroad and campus life. Preparations for Fredonia Live began in 2006 as an ambitious, inexpensive collaboration between the offices of Student Affairs, Academic Affairs and University Advancement. In all, 16 student videos are now available, with more scheduled on different topics each semester.

Check out the website to see what students have to say about Fredonia — and help us spread the word to anyone you know who is currently evaluating their college choices!
