The Yunghans/Mirabelli scholarship
The Yunghans/Mirabelli Biology Achievement Scholarship is named for long-time faculty member Wayne Yunghans, and was established by alumnus Christopher Mirabelli ’77. Dr. Mirabelli was an undergraduate Biology major at Fredonia when Dr. Yunghans introduced him to the challenges and joys of scientific research. Minimum qualifications for consideration are a 90% unweighted high school average, 1,250 SAT or 28 ACT, along with strong Regents test scores in both Science and Math. The scholarships will be renewed each year, provided that the student maintains a 3.25 GPA.
