Completion of the M.S.Ed. Math program meets the advanced degree requirement for Professional Certification in New York State to teach mathematics at the Middle Childhood level (grades 5-9) or at the Adolescence level (grades 7-12).

Background Preparation

  • N.Y.S. Initial Certification in Mathematics/Adolescence Education, with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics or N.Y.S. Initial Certification in Mathematics/Middle Childhood Education, with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
