Fredonia’s newest student group, the Astronomy Club, will be hosting its first event, "Aliens???" on Monday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Horizon Room of the Williams Center.

Students and faculty are encouraged to attend, partake in riveting discussion, and share opinions on the following question: “Do aliens exist?” The event is free and will be catered by the Faculty Student Association.

To begin the evening’s activities, will be a presentation given by the Astronomy Club, followed by a short video and discussion.

Formed this semester, the Astronomy Club holds discussion-based events on as astrological subjects, looking above and beyond the world. The organization is for anyone who has an interest in astronomy and wants to learn more about the universe.

In addition to watching movies and shows related to astronomy and having discussions on current news about space exploration, the Astronomy Club plans to host outdoor events such as stargazing nights and trips to museums and planetariums.
