Fredonia's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society, will host “Bedtime Stories,” reading children's books that focus on the Earth and environment as a fun Earth Month activity for the campus and Fredonia community to enjoy with their children.
Department of English faculty will be reading on Monday, April 24, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Japanese garden area of Reed Library. There will be refreshments and pajamas are encouraged for adults and children.
Organizers have planned the event as an opportunity to educate the next generation about the importance of the environment, and its role in protecting the Earth, believing that education about the environment will encourage participation as adults.
