The Office of Volunteer and Community Services welcomes students and Fredonia community members to the 11th Annual Community Service Fair on Friday, Sept. 26 in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
All interested individuals will have the opportunity to meet and learn more about local community service agencies. Representatives from agencies will be present to answer questions about their organization, sign up volunteers and offer insight to potential volunteers.
Some of the community service agencies will include: the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County, Chautauqua Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Council (CASAC), United Way of Northern Chautauqua, Chautauqua County Home, Chautauqua County Humane Society, Campus and Community Children's Center, Dunkirk Free Library, Greystone Nature Preserve, Chautauqua Area Habitat for Humanity, Chautauqua County Rural Ministry (Gleaning Project/Friendly Kitchen), Camp Gross, Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua, Circle of Love, YWCA, Junior Achievement of WNY, Fredonia Place, First Presbyterian Church of Fredonia and The Salvation Army.
Fredonia student groups, faculty and staff are encouraged to learn more about volunteer opportunities throughout the Fredonia community. This event is free.
