Area high school juniors interested in starting their college career early are invited to attend an informational meeting concerning SUNY Fredonia’s “3-1-3 Program” on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m., in Room 204 A-B of the Williams Center.

The 3-1-3 program allows students to begin taking courses on campus at SUNY Fredonia as fully-admitted students during their senior year in high school, regardless of where they intend to go to college after high school. (The program includes three years of high school, one combined high school/college year, and three years of college.)

Representatives from the SUNY Fredonia Office of Admissions and Financial Aid will be joined by area high school guidance counselors, current 3-1-3 students and 3-1-3 program staff to discuss the time-shortened degree program and to answer specific questions from students and their parents.

Interested students seeking additional information before the meeting are encouraged to contact their high school guidance counselor or Liza Smith, 3-1-3 Program director, at the SUNY Fredonia Learning Center at 716-673-3550. Information is also available on the Fredonia website, www.Fredonia.edu/tlc.
