The 3rd annual Eurasian honeysuckle pull will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, on campus. Volunteers will plant native plants (a tough species that are prodigious flower producers) in a strip at the boundary between the Campus Woodlot and the lawn. After that, the group will go into the Woodlot and pull Eurasian honeysuckle bushes, which are an invasive species. All volunteers should be at the Clocktower at 10 a.m. Some trowels and gloves will be provided, but volunteers are asked to bring their own if possible.
