Recent Department of Biology alumni will return to campus during Homecoming weekend to offer presentations and network with current students interested in attending graduate or professional school.

On Friday, Oct. 23 there will be an alumni reception from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Science Center atrium. Following, from 3 to 5 p.m., will be alumni presentations. On Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10:30 a.m. to noon will be panel presentations, and from noon until 2 p.m. current students will be able to network with alumni and ask questions about graduate or professional school.

Alumni in attendance and presenting include: Steve Gangloff, University at Buffalo School of Medicine; Maria Green, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine; Leah Kerns Webb, Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine; Nicholas Dragonette, University at Buffalo School of Dentistry; Jennifer Michelsen, D’Youville College’s program in Occupational Therapy; Megan Szalkowski, University at Buffalo School of Nursing; Leonard Smith, Stony Brook University, Physician Assistant program; Max DeNies, University of Michigan, Ph.D. program in Cell and Molecular Biology; Nicholas Catanzaro, Virginia Tech, Ph.D. program in Microbiology; and Malachi Blundon, Carnegie Mellon University, Ph.D. program in Cell and Developmental Biology.
