The SUNY Fredonia Counseling Center will be putting on its 11th annual Campus-wide Donation Drive on Friday, Dec. 3. All students, faculty and staff are being asked to donate non-perishable food items, new or old toys, and new or old clothing. All donations will be given to Chautauqua County Rural Ministries and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton CYO.

There are multiple ways to get involved and donate:

  • Faculty and Staff: Put donations outside of your office door by 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec 3. Volunteers will stop by to pick them up.
  • McEwen Hall: Items should be left at the Communication Department (324 McEwen).
  • Rockefeller Arts Center: Items can be dropped off in the Art Gallery Lobby.
  • Steele/Dods Hall: Leave donated items in the Athletics Office (123 Dods).
  • Reed Library: Items should be left at the library lobby
  • Residential Students: Boxes labeled “Campus-Wide Donation Drive” will be provided to each residence hall building, located in the main lobbies. Put your items to be donated in the box by 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3.

Stop by Room G-138 in the Williams Center between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 to drop off donations in person.

The drive also needs volunteers to help pick up, sort, and package donations. Anyone interested should contact Marie at the campus Counseling Center at 716-673-3424 to sign-up.

The Campus-wide Donation Drive is co-sponsored by the SUNY Fredonia Counseling Center, the Office of Admissions, the Department of Residence Life, the Department of Custodial Services, the Office of Volunteer Services, and Division of Student Affairs.
