Area students are invited to enter SUNY Fredonia’s Days of Education Creativity Contest honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The contest provides an opportunity for Chautauqua County students in grades 9 to 12 to creatively explore the contest’s theme, ‘Days of Education,’ that reflects Dr. King's enduring vision for an inclusive and equitable society where education serves as a powerful tool or path for empowerment, equality and community growth.
Cash prizes are $150 for first place; $100 for second place and $75 for third place.
“Students are encouraged to share their perspectives on how accessible education can foster freedom, bridge societal divides and uplift individuals and communities,” explained SUNY Fredonia Vice President for Student Affairs Tracy Stenger.
