The Fredonia women's volleyball team reached the 20-win plateau with a pair of wins on Saturday. The Devils play host to Potsdam in the first round of the SUNYAC Tournament on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Dods Hall.
The Devils cruised past Lycoming Saturday, 25-20, 25-14, and 25-21. They wrote off Penn 25-12, 25-15, and 25-17. The women finish the season at 21-9 before heading into the post-season.
Two Blue Devils were named to the New York Regional Challenge All-Tournament Team: junior setter Amanda Mosack (Webster/Webster Schroeder) and freshman middle blocker-opposite Christie Ackendorf (Buffalo/Sweet Home).
Against Lycoming, SallyAnne Rudny (Jamestown/Southwestern) led the offense 13 kills and four aces. Kailey Falk (York, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) added nine kills.
Selena Brown (South Ozone Park/Hillcrest) led the defense with four blocks, and Rachel Aiello (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) had 14 digs.
Emma Booth led the attack against Penn with nine kills, and Falk had seven kills and four aces. Aiello added five aces and had a team-high 10 digs.
Mosack had 61 digs in the two matches.
