The Fredonia women's volleyball team dominated Plattsburgh with a 3-0 victory on Saturday. The Devils took charge in all three sets, winning 25-12, 25-14, and 25-15.
Emma Booth led the offense with 11 kills and five blocks. Christie Ackendorf and Brinn Shaughnessy had eight kills apiece. Kourtney Krchniak had 30 assists.
Sierra Keim led the team with three aces and 18 digs.
"Great team effort today," said Head Coach Geoff Braun. "We were strong defensively and minimized the effectiveness of their best attackers. We were also scoring with all our hitters."
Plattsburgh falls to 8-17, and 1-8 in the SUNYAC.
The Devils finish conference play with a 2-7 record, and improve to 9-16 overall. They take on Medaille in the home finale on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
