Emilia Driscoll, a junior majoring in Molecular Genetics and Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Corning, has been named R.A. of the Month for October by Residence Life.

“Emilia is a shining light in Eisenhower Hall. She brings a kind, upbeat attitude to the residents and the staff as a whole,” said Christopher Shirley-Brown, Eisenhower Hall resident director, who nominated Ms. Driscoll for the award.

“She is able to bring out the best in residents both personally and academically. As a tutor along with being an R.A., she has helped many residents with academics and getting them connected,” Mr. Shirley-Brown added.

When asked about her favorite part of being an R.A., Driscoll said, “... my favorite part has been getting to know all of the residents in Eisenhower and putting on programs.” In her free time, Driscoll likes to rock climb.

“Emilia has gone above and beyond in all aspects of the job and will continue to go even further than she is now,” Shirley-Brown said.
