Fredonia State sophomore Emily Fish is the SUNYAC Elite 20 winner for women's indoor track and field.
A Childhood Education major from Fairport, Fish has a 3.95 grade-point average through three semesters -- the highest GPA of all women competing at the SUNYAC Indoor Track & Field championship meet at Brockport last weekend.
"Emily is a very focused student-athlete," Fredonia Head Coach Tom Wilson said. "It was no surprise that she is leading the conference with her near-perfect GPA."
Fish competed in the 800 meters, plus the distance medley and 4-by-400 meter relays at the SUNYAC meet. She is the daughter of Julie and Mark Fish.
