Recording artist and soloist Aaron Engebreth (baritone) and Quinn Patrick Ankrum (mezzo), assistant professor of Voice at the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, will join School of Music faculty members Dr. Anne Kissel (pianist) and Joe Dan Harper (tenor) in presenting Dr. Boelter’s “Souls,” settings of poems from Edgar Lee Masters’ “Spoon River Anthology.”

Songs by Jake Heggie, Robert Schumann and Henri Duparc, as well as the premiere of Boelter’s “Liberty,” are also included in the recital, which is free and open to the public.

Boelter served as director for 12 years until he stepped down in 2015.
