Erin Kalsman had three top-six finishes Saturday as Fredonia State women's swimming and diving opened its season with a quadrangular meet at Ithaca College.
Kalsman was second in the 100-yard individual medley (1:06.01), fifth in the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.38), and sixth in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:49.48), where she finished behind teammate McKayla Polowy (11:36.13).
Other top six finishers were Alyson Baumann, fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (27.16 seconds); and Jessica Schimek, sixth in 1-meter springboard diving (186.50 points).
The meet included student-athletes from Brockport and SUNY Buffalo State
