The players of DuffleBag Theatre in “Peter Pan.”
A unique children’s theater experience will be offered when Rockefeller Arts Center presents the DuffleBag Theatre production of “Peter Pan” on Friday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m., in Marvel Theatre.
Tickets are available through the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center, by phone at 716-673-3501 and online at www.fredonia.edu/tickets.
The DuffleBag actors begin performances with the retelling of original adaptations of tales like “Peter Pan.” Just when the audience becomes enthralled by the story, a twist is created. Selected audience members are asked to come up on stage and join in the action for a fun-filled, interactive theater experience.
This unpredictable performance is described as “a hilarious experience for all ages and a truly unique theatrical event in which the dream of being part of the story actually does come true.”
“Peter Pan” is approximately 60 minutes long and is recommended for ages 6 and up.
Since 1992, the “Nearly World Famous” DuffleBag Theatre has become one of the most celebrated companies in North America, thanks to its interactive storytelling productions.
With 13 different shows in its current repertoire, DuffleBag Theatre performs more than 600 times a year across Canada, the United States and internationally.
It will be DuffleBag Theatre’s 11th performance at Rockefeller Arts Center. The troupe first visited Fredonia during the 2008-09 season with a sold-out presentation of “Beauty and the Beast.”
