Favorite Fredonia State memory: It came during cross country season. "The team was returning from dinner the night before the regional championship in Fall 2019, hosted by St. Lawrence University. When we were leaving the restaurant and headed back to the hotel, a series of jokes were being thrown around and it reached the point that every person in the van was dying of laughter, including Tom (head coach), who was trying his best not to let us distract him while he drove. This went on for about five minutes of no one talking, at least audibly, and there was the pure feeling of enjoyment and comradery. That was one of those moments where I could step back and truly realize how much all of this, the sport and my teammates, have meant to me.".
Quote: "If you set a goal and accomplish it with little effort, you expect too little of yourself.".
When Fredonia State's spring sports seasons were cut short, so too were the Senior Day celebrations in all spring sports. As a small token of our appreciation, we will honor each of the seniors in baseball, softball, women's lacrosse, and men's outdoor track and field over the next few weeks. Please join us in thanking them for their hard work and dedication to Blue Devil athletics on this webpage and via social media (#SeniorSalute).
