Cassie Serafin
Cassie Serafin won the women's long jump and moved to No. 19 on the NCAA Division III qualifying list during the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic outdoor track and field meet.
Serafin's jump of 5.56 meters -- 18 feet, 3 inches -- also moved her up to No. 3 on Fredonia's all-time Top 10 list in the women's outdoor long jump.
Other top performances by Fredonians:
Ayana Bursie finished third in the 100 meters in 12.79 seconds;
Hannah Kurbs was fifth in the 1,500 meters with a personal-best 4:52.59;
Emily Maguire was fifth in the 800 meters in 2:25.22;
Madeline Sohl had a personal-best long jump of 5.03 meters;
Maryclaire Haseley had a personal-best 5,000-meter run of 20:46.65;
Abriel Andrews turned in a a personal-best hammer throw of 37.07 meters (121 feet, 7 inches).
Stephanie Wojnowski ran a season-best 5:11.21 in the 1,500 meters.
