The Fredonia State volleyball team improved its record to 2-1 with a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence at the Cortland Invitational on Saturday.
The offense was again led by Emily Jones and Christine Ackendorf with 13 and nine kills, respectively. Jones added three aces and Ackendorf had six blocks, both leading the team. Kourtney Krchniak was credited with 37 assists.
The Devils won the sets by scores of 25-18, 25-27, 25-11, and 25-22.
St. Lawrence was led by Natalie Piper with 15 kills and four aces, while Allie Posnick had 25 assists.
The Devils are at the Penn State Behrend Invitational next weekend.
