Four campus professionals were selected for the "Chautauqua Region Top 40 Under 40" list this fall, which highlighted outstanding area leaders under age 40. Published in the Jamestown Post-Journal and Dunkirk Observer, the list included SUNY Fredonia employees Alison Barry and Richard Ryan, and F.S.A. employees Jeff Keddie and Katie Brown.
Barry is SUNY Fredonia's ticketing and customer service manager for the ticket office. She previously directed all aspects of ticketing operations for Chautauqua Institution. Ryan is Associate Director of Development for University Advancement. His job includes working on major gifts, dealing with other charitable foundations and corporations, and planning events such as the Alumni Golf Tournament, the annual Scholars' Breakfast, and the Distinguished Service Awards dinner. Ryan is a SUNY Fredonia graduate who is active in the Rotary Club and is on the board of the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. View his article>>
Keddie is supervisor at the commissary for F.S.A., where he helps manage central receiving, the bake shop, catering kitchen and central prep. With a decade of a experience in the food service industry, Keddie and his wife also operate the Lakeshore Grillworks, owned by his father. View his article>>
Brown is the FSA Bookstore General Merchandise Manager, where she finds out and stays on top of what products the students want in terms of clothing,electronics, gifts and cards, and, yes, books. She also hires and supervises many student employees in the bookstore, which is located in University Commons on campus. View her article>>
