Students from the Department of Biology who performed National Science Foundation-funded research or internships during the summer will present their findings and results on Friday Oct. 30.

The presentations will be held from 2 to 4:45 p.m. in the Kelly Family Auditorium in the Science Center. Following the presentations, there will be a reception in the Gavin Aerie.

Student presenters include: Joshua Blundon, Franklinville; Tera Douglas, Winthrop; Jorge Escobar, Bay Shore; Phillip Frankino, Derby; Meaghan Griffin, Barton; John Hasper, Great Valley; Paige Jacobs, Kirkville.; Shane Murphy and Ramses Rodriguez, Fredonia; and Geraldo Polanco, Bronx.

The Department of Biology at Fredonia aims to provide excellent instruction in all areas of Biological Science from molecules to ecosystems. Through rigorous student centered programs of study, the department aspires to produce graduates who are well-prepared to enter graduate and professional programs and a wide variety of career opportunities.
