A hip-hop concert, featuring Roc-A-Fella recording artist Memphis Bleek and several performers from the Fredonia, Dunkirk and Buffalo areas, will be hosted by the Black Student Union at SUNY Fredonia on Friday, March 27 at 8 p.m. in the Williams Center.

“Getting artists of this caliber and musical genre is not common to SUNY Fredonia, and the Black Student Union expects this to be a very big event,” said BSU publicity chair Drew Rebecchi.

Rock-A-Fella, the label behind Mr. Bleek, is owned by Jay-Z, one of the biggest names in the music industry. Also on stage will be Christian Rich, an up-and-coming duo from New York City, along with area performers that include: Mr. Oh So Confident, Shawn “Jigg” Brown, Sean “Herk” Adamson, Krills and Frost.

Tickets, at $3 for students and faculty, $4 for general admission, are available at the Fredonia Ticket Office, located in the Williams Center.
