Fredonia’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will present the program, “Brain Breaks’ and Other Coping Strategies – What Science Tells Us about the Connections between Movement, Memory and Mood,” on Wednesday, Nov. 5 , from noon to 1 p.m., in Williams Center Room S204.
The event is part of the school’s 2014-2015, “A Healthy Climate,” CLAS Brown Bag Lecture Series. Students, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy light refreshments and join the discussion about health and wellness at the informal gathering.
Speakers will include Todd Backes, assistant professor of biology; Priscilla Cerdes, president of the Let’s Move! student group; Susan Murphy, Employee Assistance Program coordinator; and Leanna White, senior counselor at Fredonia’s Counseling Center.
The event is funded by the Fredonia College Foundation's Carnahan-Jackson Humanities Fund and CLAS Dean John Kijinski.
