Student performances, information sessions and cuisine from around the world that, collectively and individually, promote the diverse campus culture at Fredonia will be offered during International Education Week, which gets underway on Monday, Nov. 13.
CultureFest, a showcase of food, student performances and other attractions, will be presented by the Intercultural Center on Monday, at 6 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
A Peace Corps information session will be set up on Tuesday, 3 to 4:30 p.m., at Williams Center Room G103-C for students interested in learning about becoming a volunteer for the Peace Corps after graduation.
Study Abroad 101, the perfect crash course to learn about study abroad opportunities, will be held on Wednesday, 4 to 5 p.m., at Williams Center Room S204-D.
A Global Achievement Reception, featuring international students and study abroad students who will present research posters on the ways their experiences abroad have impacted them academically, personally and professionally, will be held on Wednesday, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in Reed Library.
Cruise Around the World, a showcase of food and culture from around the globe that students can access while "cruising" through various residence halls, will be held on Wednesday, from 8 to 10 p.m.
The International Student Banquet, a display of food, music, and performances presented by the Office of International Student Services, will be held on Thursday, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room. Proceeds benefit international student scholarships. Tickets are available at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center.
International Education Week events are free and open to the public, with the exception of the International Student Banquet, which is a ticketed event.
