Department of Sociocultural and Justice Sciences Assistant Professor Michael Clarkson-Hendrix presented “Serving OIF/OEF/OND Veterans through Collaborative Practice: Implications for Education,” with co-presenter John Carroll-Barbuto of the University at Albany, at the 62nd Annual Program Meeting of the Council on Social Work Education, held Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 3-6, in Atlanta, Ga.

The presentation focused on curriculum implications derived from a project investigating how interdisciplinary collaboration is being shaped by the emerging needs of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn veterans.

The Department of Sociocultural and Justice Sciences includes the disciplines and professions of Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Sociology and Social Work.
