On Monday, Feb. 22, four local Chautauqua County public servants will form a panel to talk about their experiences for a Convocation Series event, 'The Psychology of Public Service." Two SUNY Fredonia faculty members will discuss public service from a psychological perspective. The panel will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in S121 in the Williams Center.
The event is part of Fredonia’s 2009-2010 Convocation series, which revolves around the theme, “Public Service: Challenges and Opportunities.” The panel, sponsored by the Convocation Committee and the Department of Psychology, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Public servants featured on the panel will be Michael Bobseine, former Chautauqua County Legislator and current member of the Fredonia Central School Board of Education; Robert Scudder and John Gullo, Chautauqua County legislators; and Rodney Pennica, member of the Pomfret Town Board.
Psychology faculty members, Dr. Jack Croxton and Dr. Bruce Klonsky, will give a psychological perspective of public service.
