Robert L. Dahlgren, associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education, will present a paper, "Ivory Tower Misfits: The Images of College Professors in Hollywood Films," at the annual meeting of the History of Education Society in Little Rock, Ark., on Saturday, Nov. 4.
His presentation will be based on a chapter to be published in an edited volume on representations of college life in popular media by Routledge, a leading academic publisher in the humanities and social sciences, in early 2018.
