The Fredonia women's volleyball team finished off Pool Play with a 3-1 win over Oswego on Saturday. Earlier in the day, they fell 3-1 to eventual conference champion Brockport. The Devils end the regular season at 6-3 in the SUNYAC, which earns them the No. 4 seed and a home playoff game in the first round.

Kristen Stanek led the offense with 12 kills against the Lakers. Jane Garrity (Victor, N.Y. / Victor) added eight and Sara Madison (Rochester, N.Y./Penfield) had seven. Amanda Mosack (Webster/Webster Schroeder) had 34 assists.

Kailey Falk (York, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) had seven service aces, while Courtney Poirier (West Seneca/West Seneca West) had six.

Garrity led the team with four blocks, and Mosack had 15 digs.

Set scores were 25-17, 25-20, 21-25 and 25-15 in favor of the Blue Devils.

Against Brockport, Stanek was tops with 15 kills and Mosack had 34 assists. Defensively, Garrity had a pair of blocks and Rachel Aiello (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) had a team-best 19 digs.

Fredonia lost by set scores of 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, and 15-25.

Now 18-10 overall, Fredonia will play host to Geneseo on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Prior to that, they have three games next weekend at the Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational.
