The Devils complete the weekend sweep by defeating Oneonta and Potsdam on Saturday 3-2 and 3-0 respectfully.  They're now 5-1 in conference with one more SUNYAC Pool Play weekend remaining.

The first match was a nail biter as the Red Dragons took the Devils to five sets. The Devils won the final set by a score of 15-13.

SallyAnne Rudny (Jamestown/Southwestern) led the Devils in kills the first match finishing with 12. Setter Amanda Mosack (Webster/Webster Schroeder) had every assist for the Blue Devils with 34 and added 5 service aces. The Devils relied on Rachel Aiello (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) on defense who finished with 26 digs.  Emma Falk (York, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) controlled the net with 5 solo blocks and 4 block assists.

Fredonia found their groove the second game against Potsdam winning the first two sets by a combined 17 points.

Rudny led the charge finishing with a team high 11 kills, 16 digs and 5 service aces. Mosack finished with 35 assists as sisters Kailey Falk (York, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) and Emma Falk threw down 9 and 8 kills respectfully.  Brinn Shaughnessy (Apalachin/Owego) also added 7 kills and Makenna Kallin (Owego/Owego) finished with 4 service aces in the second game.

The Blue Devils won't see action until next weekend as they welcome SUNY Canton and Houghton to Dods Hall for the second and final Fredonia Tri-Match of the season.  First set will begin 11 a.m. against SUNY Canton.
