The three winners of the 23rd annual Rosa Parks Scholarship Competition will be honored at a ceremony to be held Tuesday, April 3, 4 p.m., at Rosch Recital Hall. A reception in the Horizon Room will follow the ceremony. The Rosa Park Scholarship Competition is sponsored by the Center for Multicultural Affairs.
This year’s recipients are:
- Doreen Bumpus, senior, Business Administration, who submitted the poem “Who Let the Devil Loose?”
- Tyler McMillan, junior, Graphic Design, who artwork was titled “Drive Towards Equality”;
- and Emily Paccia, senior, English Adolescence Education, whose unit plan was “Societal Identity Shaping: The Pearl.”
