Fredonia Enactus and the Girl Scouts of Western New York formed a partnership in January during an “Ingredients for Success” event that taught the scouts to implement entrepreneurial selling skills for selling cookies.
As an extension of the effort, Girl Scouts from Troop 20158 will be setting up a booth in McEwen Hall on March 12 from 2:30 to 5 p.m., selling a variety of the well-known Girl Scout cookies.
Girl Scouts of Western New York brings Girl Scouting programs to girls and young women between the ages of 5 and 17. Scouts discover fun, friendship, and the power of girls together. It helps cultivate values, social consciousness, and self-esteem while providing the girls with valuable and positive life experiences.
Fredonia Enactus is an international nonprofit organization of student leaders that strives to create a better, more sustainable world through a series of projects using entrepreneurial actions.
