Brittany Feldman (Jamestown) finished fourth in the women's 400 meters in 56.85 seconds at Bucknell University.

Feldman was entered in the 10th and final heat, a presumptive final which also included the top three finishers and five of the top eight. Feldman was the top NCAA D-3 finisher, behind winner Bethany Evankovich of D-1 Duquesne -- winning time of 54.96 seconds -- and two women from D-2 schools.

Feldman, a Southwestern High School graduate, added her name to the list of potential 2017 NCAA outdoor qualifiers. Her time Saturday would have ranked 13th fastest in the division coming into the weekend.

In other events Saturday, Merlin Joseph Jr. (Binghamton) ran a personal-best 1:57.14 in the men's 800 meters. Also, Trent Howard (Dewittville) moved up to eighth in the outdoor men's pole vault with a clearance of 4.35 meters (14 feet, 3 1/4 inches).
