Junior distance runner Ethan Francis (Dunkirk, N.Y./Dunkirk) and freshman sprinter Michael Salvati (Avon, N.Y./Avon) had Fredonia Top 10 indoor track career efforts Saturday at the Boston University.
Both Blue Devils won their meets at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. Francis was clocked in 15:10.28 in the 5,000 meters and is now No. 9 on Fredonia's career indoor list, Salvati's 23.12 seconds is the new No, 10 in the 200 meters. Salvati was also a heat-winner Saturday.
In the 800 meters Saturday at Boston, senior Mitch Loiacano (Lockport/Lockport) ran a collegiate best 1:59.72 seconds.
