The Fredonia College Foundation Board of Directors has authorized $15,000 in 1-for-2 matching funding for the 2015-16 academic year as a special incentive for All-Campus Appeal payroll deduction and cash gifts directed to endowments.
Included in the payroll deduction incentive will be gifts to any new or existing endowments, including program endowments, endowed scholarships, building towards endowment funds, and pooled endowment fund accounts. Matching funds of 50 cents to every dollar will be provided up to a maximum of $500 match for a $1,000 donation. The incentive is limited to donations to endowments, and does include all departmental endowments.
Vice President for University Advancement David Tiffany noted, “The building of endowments translates into more available scholarships for deserving students and the development of a continuing source for program support. I encourage you to contribute to an endowment of your choice. Please refer to the brochure listing all of the awards, funds and scholarships administered by the Fredonia College Foundation received in the recently distributed All-Campus Appeal packet for more information. Donors wishing to establish new endowments should contact the Foundation Office at extension 3321.”\
Dr. Tiffany added, “Fredonia continues to offer an exceptional education at an affordable price, changing lives and converting dreams into realities.”
