The State University of New York Athletic Conference on April 3 named its top swimmers and divers for the 2014-15 season, with Fredonia sweeping the diving honors.
Sophomores Jeff Matter (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) and Meghan Bartlett (Johnstown, N.Y./Johnstown) took home the diving awards.
Matter went to NCAA championships, where he received All-American honors for his fourth-place finish in the 3-meter event. In addition, he received All-American Honorable Mention for his 16th place finish in the 1-meter dive.
Bartlett was named SUNYAC Female Diver of the Meet this year. She took first place in the 1- and 3 meter diving finals. At the NCAA championships she received All-American honors for her performances in the 3-meter and 1-meter dives, finishing sixth and seventh, respectively.
