The Curriculum and Instruction Department of the College of Education and Silver Creek Elementary School District have shared a clinically-rich, site-based partnership since Spring 2013.
Drs. Kathleen Magiera and Ana Maria Klein, recently promoted from associate to full professor, have co-taught two field-based courses at the elementary school and have recently published three articles. One article is in The International Journal of Diversity Education, “Finding common ground: Co-teaching inclusion and diversity.” The other two were published in Exceptional Individuals and the New York State Mathematics Teachers Journal.
The pair will also be presenting at a national conference in the spring.
