Live music by student bands as well as a family group from the community, food and raffles will be offered and two tickets for the Zac Brown Band’s concert on June 25 at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center will be given away. There will also be donations from the band and other prizes.

Tickets are $2 presale for Fredonia students and $3 presale for community members and can be purchased at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center. Tickets sold at the door will be $4 for Fredonia students and $5 for community members.

All proceeds from the event will be directly donated to Camp Southern Ground, a 400-acre camp located near Fayetteville, Ga. It is to serve children and teens, ages 7-17, who have autism, dyslexia, Asperger syndrome, Tourette syndrome, Downs syndrome and other disabilities.

“This is the first year for this event and we are hoping for many more,” said Amanda Seewagen, president of Council for Exceptional Children, which advocates for children with disabilities.
