Department of Psychology Professor Nancy Gee recently collaborated with a University of Maryland researcher on a project, funded by the Waltham Centre for Pet Nutrition, to produce a critical evaluation of research methodology in human-animal interaction research involving older adults.
The paper, which can be found online, was recently published in The Gerontologist. The internationally-distributed journal published by Oxford Academic on behalf of the Gerontological Society of America has a five-year impact factor of 3.93.
Dr. Gee will give a podium presentation based on the paper at the 27th annual conference of the International Society for Anthrozoology in Sydney, Australia, this summer.
