The Biology Club is sponsoring its second Annual Gingerbread Competition in early December, open to all students, faculty, staff and community members.
Jordan Lamb, president of the club noted, “Last year kicked off what is going to be a really great tradition for the Biology Club.”
There is a $10 participation fee for each team of up to five members, which is due by Friday, Nov. 20 to the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center. Teams must have the ticket generated by the registration fee to submit a finished gingerbread house. When signing up, participants must give a team name as well as the names of participating team members. Completed houses are due to the Science Center Atrium no later than 9 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3 for display and voting. The winning team will receive a prize.
Planning the event for the first week in December gives groups time to plan a design over the Thanksgiving break on campus, slated for the week of Nov. 23.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Lakeshore Humane Society.
