Fredonia will host former economics professor, Dr. Paul Homes, on Thursday, April 23 for a talk at 6:30 p.m., in McEwen Hall Room 209.
Dr. Holmes, currently on the faculty at Ashland University in Ohio, will discuss research, techniques, and strategies used by economists in the sports industry. Holmes’ expertise has a strong statistical and sporting focus which makes his work and research applicable to a wide variety of majors, including students majoring in Mathematics and Sport Management.
The event is free and open to the public.
