SUNY Fredonia students will be treated to a free ride to their campus destination of choice and a free music download card today on Wednesday, April 16, courtesy of the Lifelong Learning and Special Programs department. All they have to do is hail the Summer Sessions taxi, driven by Eric Skowronski, director of Lifelong Learning.

Brochures for this year’s Summer Sessions and the music downloads will be stashed in the taxi – a golf cart otherwise used to shuttle dignitaries around campus -- and given to all students who receive a ride between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. There is no obligation to enroll in a Summer Session.

The promotion is designed to encourage students to consider a Summer Session as a means to: get closer to their goal by completing needed coursework, explore another discipline, catch up on required classes or start their college studies before the fall term.

In conjunction with Rockin’ the Commons, free music download cards will be given to students who visit the Summer Sessions table in the Williams Center on Thursday and Friday.
