Senior Justyn Haines (Albion, N.Y./Albion) capped his collegiate career with an 11th-place finish in the pole vault at the NCAA Division III Meet on Saturday. Haines cleared 4.80 meters (15'9'').

Haines, making his first NCAA appearance, was tied for 19th in entering the national meet. He had cleared 4.88 meters (16 feet) on May 4 at the SUNYAC championship meet.

The winning vault was by Dan Evers of Monmouth (Ill.) at 5.4 meters (17'8.5'').

"I am very proud of this group," said head coach Tom Wilson. "They worked very hard and stayed dedicated enough to qualify for nationals."

On May 25, teammates Sarah Couperus, in the high jump, and Brittany Feldman, in the 400-meter dash, also competed at the NCAA meet.
