The Fredonia Technology Incubator will host the Federal and State Technology Research & Development Funding Opportunities Working Conference in collaboration with Jamestown Community College on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, with the program from 9 a.m. to noon, including time for questions. It will be held at the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. The FAST Working Conference is for professionals in the business and STEM fields who wish to learn different techniques and collaborate with each other. It is for professionals who own their own company and are trying to develop innovative products; scientists or professors with ideas, but limited resources; researchers who are interested in collaborating with businesses; and professionals who have successfully completed Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer, but seek current information on the process.

Jack McGowan, project manager of InSyte Consulting; Chuck Cornell, director of the Fredonia Technology Incubator, and a representative from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will speak at the conference.
