International Education Week 2014 activities have been highlighting Fredonia's "global citizens," as well as providing opportunities to enhance students' global awareness.
The U.S. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs began International Education Week 15 years ago, and since its inception, it has spread to campuses across the country. It is hoped that the events will highlight the global citizens that make up the campus' students, faculty, and staff. The year's themes include gratitude and storytelling. Throughout the week, the Office of International Education will collect Fredonia stories of gratitude and global citizenship, and will present the stories in a luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. in the Horizon Room in the Williams Center. The luncheon is free and tickets are available at the Fredonia Ticket Office in the Williams Center and are required for admission.
The Passport Day is anticipated to be rescheduled in January 2015.
