The Department of Politics and International Affairs will host Jesus Antonio Trevino Cantu, professor of Architecture at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leóne, who will be giving a lecture on Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m. in McEwen Hall Room G26. The event is free and open to the public.
The topic of the lecture is foreign policy, specifically, “Beyond the Fence: U.S.-Mexico-Latin America Relations Without Barbed Wire Theories.”
Dr. Cantu is a distinguished Mexican scholar, social scientist and public policy expert, receiving a degree in Economics from of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leóne, a master’s degree in Science with a specialization in Urban Development from El Colegio de Mexico, and a doctoral degree in Planning and Public Policy from the University of Texas at Arlington.
